Installation

    Download the plugin

    Get the ZIP file from this page.

    Upload it to WordPress

    In your dashboard, open Plugins, click Add New, then Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP and click Install Now, then Activate.

    Turn on Whish Pay

    Open WooCommerce, go to Settings, then Payments, and switch on Whish Pay.

    Add your Whish details

    Enter the merchant channel and secret that Whish shared with you, then save.

  5. 5

    Run a test checkout

    Add a product to your cart, choose Whish Pay at checkout, and place the order. If you are redirected to a Whish-hosted payment page (a whish.money address), the plugin is connected correctly. You do not need to finish paying to confirm this, so no charge is made. Once you reach that page, you are ready to accept payments.

Good to know

  • Each site needs its own Whish credentials. For multiple stores, request a separate channel and secret per site.
  • Updates are manual for now: re-download the latest version from this page and re-upload it. There is no auto-update channel yet.
